Personalized Name Wall Decor: A Lasting Meaning in a Gift

Personalized name wall decor is a wooden piece laser-cut in our Eskişehir workshop with the name, surname, or date you write in the order note: prices start at 790 TL, it is shipped within 5-7 business days, and since it is personalized, it cannot be returned; therefore, it is necessary to double-check the spelling. The short answer to why it works so well as a gift is: a vase is forgotten, but a piece with your name on it stays on the wall. In this guide, we explain which of the seven customizable designs fits whom and which occasion, five points to check when ordering, and where to hang the piece.

What is personalized wall decor and how is it produced?

The fixed part of the design (house, heart, mixer, campfire, initial) is the same for every order; the name area is redrawn and cut according to your text. In most designs, the pieces are laser-cut from 6 mm premium wood (Affirmation decors feature a fabric-textured surface on a 3 mm panel), edges are hand-finished, painted with matte black acrylic, and prepared to stand approximately 3 cm off the wall; the shadow that shifts throughout the day transforms a flat inscription into a raised sign. Shorter names appear larger, while longer names are set in finer lettering. Each piece is shipped with mounting hardware and screws in shock-absorbent packaging; material details can be found in our article on what wooden wall decor is.

7 designs: for whom, for what occasion?

1. For a new home: Personalized "HOME" Wooden Wall Decor with Heart. The 'O' in the "HOME" letters becomes a house with a roof, the wall color shows through the heart cutout in the middle, and the family name is written on the bottom strip. Sizes 30×20 and 50×34 cm for above an entryway console, 70×47 and 100×67 cm for behind a sofa. First on the list for moving, housewarming, and wedding gifts; other ideas are in our new home gifts article.

2. For weddings, engagements, and anniversaries: Customizable Family Name Wall Decor. The name-surname and date (or a short phrase like "Est. 2022") are engraved onto a large initial; 35, 50, and 70 cm squares. 3. For mothers and baking enthusiasts: Personalized Mixer and Rolling Pin Kitchen Wall Decor. A stand mixer silhouette, with a name engraved on the rolling pin and a handwritten "Bake." Four sizes from 30×26 to 80×70 cm; for a backsplash or above a sideboard. The warmest choice for Mother's Day and grandmother gifts.

4. For anyone who loves their kitchen: Personalized Kitchen Wall Decor. "Yılmaz Family Kitchen," "Coffee Corner," or "Bon Appétit": you decide the text. Four widths from 35 to 101 cm; kitchen and dining area ideas are in our personalized kitchen decor article.

6. For teens and students: Customizable Affirmation Wall Decor. A name is added to one of seven affirmation sentences such as "I am valuable, I am strong, I can do it"; perfect for a study corner or headboard with its fabric-textured surface. An ideal gift for exam periods, 18th birthdays, and graduations.

7. For children and newborns: Personalized Affirmation Wall Decor with Name. The second version of the same affirmation concept where the name stands out; for nursery rooms and birth gifts, you can find it by searching "personalized" in the shop.

Which design for which occasion?

For personalized products, delivery time is 5-7 business days for production + 2-5 business days for shipping; order at least two weeks before the special occasion. Bellona's home gift recommendations emphasize the same point: you gain pieces that match the recipient's taste and home style, carrying long-term value.

5 checks when ordering

1. Spelling. Write the name in the exact uppercase/lowercase format you want in the order note; "Ayşe" and "AYŞE" are cut differently. Since there are no returns or exchanges for personalized products, this step is the most important. 2. Character limit. In the Family Name design, the name and surname are limited to 20 characters each; letters become thinner with long names, so choose the large size. 3. Date format. "12.06.2022" or "Est. 2022"; you can write either. 4. Size. Small-medium for console tops, large for behind sofas and backsplashes; the size logic is in our sizing guide. 5. Gift note. We can engrave your message on a 7×10 cm wooden piece and add it to the package; you can have the gift sent directly to the recipient's address.

Where to hang it?

Entryway: HOME Heart, above the console, the first sentence seen when entering the home; entryway ideas are in our entryway decoration article. Living Room: Family Name and Campfire, alone above the sofa or in 3-piece sets; our gallery wall guide has templates for using a personalized piece as an anchor. Kitchen: Mixer and Rolling Pin and Personalized Kitchen, on a wall away from steam in the backsplash area; our kitchen wall decor article. Teen and kids' room: Affirmation decors in the study corner or above the bed; our teen room guide. Since all pieces are lightweight, they can be hung with a single screw or with mounting strips in rented homes (tenant guide).
