Dancing African Women Wooden Wall Decor

Two women dancing without touching within a square frame. The figure on the left has her head thrown back, with the fingertips of her extended arm touching the left edge of the frame; the figure on the right has both arms raised and one knee pulled up into the air. The swirling of their long skirts is rendered with long, curved slits that follow the direction of the fabric; the two skirts intermingle in the middle, forming the focal point of the composition. There are no facial details, only movement — which is why the scene is read slightly differently with each glance.

It is produced by laser cutting from premium 6 mm thick wood. This thickness ensures that the form remains robust even where the long and thin curved slits in the skirts pass close to each other; as the piece stands out from the wall, light from the side creates a shadow behind the figures, like a second line of dance. Each piece is individually cut in our Eskişehir workshop, its edges are hand-finished, and after the matte black surface is checked, it is packaged.

Available in four size options: 30 x 30 cm, 45 x 45 cm, 60 x 60 cm, and 70 x 70 cm. The smallest size can also be used leaning against a wall on a console or bookcase; sizes 60 x 60 cm and larger become the focal point of a room alone behind a sofa, at a bedside, or in an entryway niche. It creates a simple yet dynamic balance with cream, beige, and terracotta walls; and with walnut, oak, and linen textures.
