Linocut Style Japanese Poster of a Black Bear Eating Sushi

A large black bear perched at a wooden sushi board carefully picks up a morsel of rice with chopsticks. As two maki and a nigiri wait their turn on the board, a small square seal in the bottom right corner adds the signature of traditional Japanese prints to the scene. Rendered only in black on a cream background, with carving lines reminiscent of a linocut, the fur texture creates a character that is both graphic and warm. Slightly humorous yet perfectly serene, this illustration conveys a love for the table with elegant simplicity.

Printed on high-quality 300 gsm matte art poster paper. The matte finish makes the deep black on the cream background appear rich without glare, while the fine carved lines in the fur and the details of the sushi board preserve the craft character of the print. Each print is individually inspected in our Eskişehir studio and shipped placed in the frame of your choice.

Available in four sizes (21×30, 30×40, 40×50, and 50×70 cm) and three frame colors (black, white, natural wood). The black frame integrates with the bear’s dark silhouette for a graphic, sharp look; the natural wood frame reflects the texture of the sushi board and highlights the warmth of Japanese cuisine, while the white frame brightens the cream background. It makes for a detail that brings a smile to your face in the kitchen, dining nook, living room, or a teen's bedroom.
